Pushword

MIT self-hosted

Pushword is a content management system built on Symfony, with pages written in Markdown, themes made with Twig, and optional Git-based flat-file storage. It is for developers and site maintainers who want to build and manage a site with Symfony, Markdown, and Twig. The page content remains in Markdown, while the theme layer uses Twig. For projects that prefer files managed through Git, the flat-file storage option is available. Because this storage model is optional, a Pushword project does not have to use it. The main limitation is its defined set of technologies. Page content uses Markdown and themes use Twig, which may not fit a project that requires another content format or theme system. Pushword is best matched to projects already comfortable with Symfony and with keeping content and presentation in the defined Markdown and Twig forms.
