This page explains where the catalog data comes from and under which licenses our derivatives are distributed.
What we took from awesome-selfhosted
The initial set of projects (names, official links, and category ideas) is partly based on awesome-selfhosted, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.
What we changed
- Our category taxonomy is our own: names, grouping and structure.
- All descriptions are written by us in our own words; nothing is copied verbatim from the source list or from projects’ README files.
- Facts (versions, dates, licenses, hashes) are collected independently from official repositories and release pages, each with a stored source link and check date.
License of our derivative data
Our catalog lists (project names with our categories and our descriptions) are distributed under CC BY-SA 3.0, the same license as the upstream list. You are free to share and adapt them with attribution; adaptations must carry the same license.
Trademarks
Program and product names are used nominatively, to identify the software and its alternatives. They belong to their respective owners; see the disclaimer.
