LibreAlts respects intellectual property rights. We list open source software that is distributed under licenses which explicitly permit redistribution, so most listings cannot infringe third-party rights. If you believe a page on this site infringes your copyright, you may request its removal.
How to file a notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] including:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the exact URL of the page on liberalts.com;
- your contact information (name, email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
What we do
Valid notices are processed within 48 hours: the affected page is removed (returns HTTP 410) and the software may be excluded from future listings. Frivolous or abusive notices may be challenged.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address explaining why the removal was erroneous.
