Squidex

MIT self-hosted

Squidex is an open-source headless CMS built on MongoDB, CQRS, and Event Sourcing. It is for developers and technical teams that need to manage content without a traditional CMS front end. Its design uses MongoDB as the database base. CQRS keeps command work separate from query work. Event Sourcing records changes as a series of events. These patterns define the program's data and system design. A practical limit is its use of MongoDB. Teams that use another database would need to adopt MongoDB or select a different CMS. CQRS and Event Sourcing are also core parts of the design. As a result, Squidex may not fit users who want a conventional CMS model without those patterns. It is best suited to users whose technical needs match this database and architecture.
