NewsBlur

NewsBlur is a personal news reader that brings people together to read news and talk about the world. It is for people who want conversation to be part of their news reading. Readers can use it for a personal view of news while also talking with other people. This makes it a fit for those who do not want news reading to be only a private activity. NewsBlur frames this mix as "a new sound of an old instrument." The old instrument is the news reader, while the new sound is its focus on bringing people together. Its main limitation is its narrow scope: personal news reading and talk about the world. People looking for work beyond reading news and discussing it with others may need a different program.
