Selfoss

Selfoss is a new multipurpose web application for RSS reading, live streams, mashups, and aggregation. It is for people who want an open source RSS reader with several related functions. Its range covers users focused on feeds as well as those interested in live streams, mashups, or aggregated material. The web application keeps all these roles in the same program rather than separate single-purpose tools. The broad scope is also a limitation. Someone seeking only a basic, dedicated RSS reader may not need live-stream, mashup, and aggregation functions. Selfoss remains multipurpose rather than limiting itself to RSS alone. This makes it more relevant to people with several of these needs than to those with only one narrow, specific reading need.
