Typemill

Typemill is an author-friendly flat-file CMS for writing and managing content with a visual Markdown editor built on Vue.js. It is for authors who prefer a visual interface but still want Markdown as the working format. The flat-file design keeps content in files instead of a CMS database, while Vue.js underpins the editing interface. Typemill covers two connected tasks: organizing content as a CMS and editing that content as Markdown. This narrow focus is also its clearest limitation. Authors whose publishing process depends on a content format other than Markdown may not find the editor suitable for that work. Likewise, authors seeking a database-backed CMS should note that Typemill follows a flat-file model. That distinction may matter during CMS selection.
