OpenWA
OpenWA is a WhatsApp API gateway that makes messaging functionality available through REST endpoints. It includes a web dashboard for access and management, supports multi-account sessions so multiple WhatsApp accounts can be used through the same gateway, and sends webhook events to connected systems. It is intended for developers and teams that need to connect WhatsApp messaging with applications or other systems using REST requests and event delivery. OpenWA can serve as an alternative to WhatsApp Business API providers for users who need REST-based messaging, dashboard access, multiple account sessions, and webhooks. The main difference is that OpenWA is open source software released under the MIT license rather than a service supplied by a WhatsApp Business API provider. Its scope is a gateway for exposing WhatsApp messaging and events; it is not described as providing any additional services that a commercial provider may offer.
