Superdesk

Superdesk is an end-to-end platform for news creation, production, curation, distribution, and publishing. It is for news teams that want to handle those stages in one program. Their work can move from creating material through selecting and organizing it for distribution and publication. The platform covers this full workflow, so its role extends beyond writing or publishing alone. Editors, producers, curators, distributors, and publishers can use it for their parts of news work across those stages. Superdesk has a clear limit: its scope. It is built around news workflows, not a general-purpose platform for work outside news creation, production, curation, distribution, and publishing. By placing these functions within one platform, Superdesk addresses the sequence of news work rather than only one isolated publishing stage.
