Noosfero

Noosfero combines blogs, e-Portfolios, a content management system (CMS), RSS, thematic discussion, an events agenda, and collective intelligence in one platform for social and solidarity economy networks. It is for social and solidarity economy networks that need these functions together. Blogs and the CMS provide tools for publishing and managing content. e-Portfolios keep portfolio content in the same system. RSS feeds are part of the platform as well. Thematic discussion supports talks built around a topic. The events agenda puts event information beside the publishing and discussion tools. Noosfero also includes collective intelligence for the solidarity economy. Its main limitation is its narrow focus. The platform centers on social and solidarity economy networks, not a broad range of other network types.
