Neos
Neos is a modern CMS for managing content. It is for people and organizations seeking an open source content management system. The program is called Neos, while version 1 uses the name TYPO3 Neos. This distinction helps users match the correct name to the first version when reading documentation, searching records, comparing releases, or discussing the software with others. Its main limitation is the version-dependent naming. Someone familiar with Neos may not immediately recognize a reference to TYPO3 Neos, and someone who knows version 1 by its longer name may need to connect it with Neos. Users should therefore keep the version number in view when names differ. Beyond that naming difference, Neos remains a modern CMS under its shorter name.
