Slink

Slink is an image-sharing platform that gives users complete control over their media sharing experience. It is for people who want control to remain central when they share images. Slink focuses on the user, the image, and the act of sharing media. This makes it suitable for users whose main need is a controlled image-sharing experience and who prefer an open source platform. Its narrow scope is also its main limitation: Slink focuses on sharing images rather than handling general software tasks. Users who need functions beyond image sharing will need another program for those needs. No specific paid product is established as a direct replacement. Within its defined role, Slink provides a focused way to share images while keeping the media sharing experience under the user's complete control.
