PieFed

PieFed is a link aggregator and Reddit clone built for the fediverse. It is for people who want a Reddit-style place centered on links but prefer a fediverse alternative. Its clearest audience is anyone comparing open source options with Reddit and looking for the same broad type of program: a link aggregator. PieFed can replace Reddit when that link-focused, fediverse-based approach meets the user's needs. The main limitation is the key difference from the product it replaces: PieFed is not Reddit, but a Reddit clone for the fediverse. Users who need Reddit itself will not get that platform from PieFed. It is a direct match only for people willing to choose a fediverse alternative instead of the original service. That boundary matters when choosing between the original platform and its fediverse alternative.
