Mox
Alternative to: Alternatives to Gmail
Mox is a complete email solution that combines IMAP4 and SMTP with webmail, account autoconfiguration, security, filtering, and internationalization. It supports SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, DANE, and DNSSEC, as well as automatic TLS through ACME and Let’s Encrypt. Reputation-based and content-based junk filtering help handle unwanted messages, while IDNA support provides internationalized domain name handling. Mox is for individuals and organizations looking for an open source, MIT-licensed email server that brings mail transport and browser-based access into one system. It can replace Gmail as an email solution, particularly for users seeking software that includes both server protocols and webmail. One important difference is that Mox is email-server software rather than a stated feature-for-feature reproduction of Gmail. The available information covers its core mail, security, filtering, configuration, and web access capabilities, but does not claim that it includes every feature or service provided by Gmail.
