Cronmaster
Web UI to manage cron jobs and scripts on your host, with logs and SSO.
Alternative to: Alternatives to Zapier
Cronmaster provides a web interface for viewing, creating, and deleting cron jobs, including comments, and for creating and managing bash scripts used by those jobs. It can capture stdout, stderr, exit codes, and timestamps when optional logging is enabled, clean up logs automatically, and stream live status and logs through server-sent events. The dashboard also displays uptime, memory, network, CPU, GPU, disk-space, and inode information. Password authentication, OIDC single sign-on, session management, and a REST API with optional API-key authentication support browser use and external integrations. Common schedule presets and script-library scheduling simplify routine setup.
It is for people who want to manage cron jobs and scripts on a host through a browser, as well as teams that need SSO or API access. It runs from Docker with real-time synchronization to host crontab files, or locally with yarn.
It replaces routine use of the crontab CLI for viewing, adding, and deleting jobs, while also providing script management and logs in one interface. However, it still depends on the host’s cron and crontab files. Cron operations and direct file access require root, so it does not remove the underlying cron system or its privilege requirements.

- Connect integrations through a REST API with optional API keys
- Monitor host resources, disk space, and inode usage
- Use schedule presets and schedule scripts from the library
vs crontab CLI
Like the crontab CLI, Cronmaster can view, create, and delete cron jobs. It adds a browser interface, bash script management, optional logs, live updates, SSO, and API access. It fits users and teams that want browser-based cron management on a host. It does not fit users who cannot grant root access or who want to replace the host cron system, because it still reads and writes crontab files directly.
