Alfresco Community Edition handles any type of content through Enterprise Content Management, letting users share content and work together on it. It is for users who manage content with other users. Sharing and joint work are central to its use. The program does not limit users to one kind of content, since it can handle any type. As open source software, it offers another way to carry out that content work. Its focus is also a limitation. People who do not need to handle, share, or work together on content will need a program made for their task instead.
