Hypersomnia

Hypersomnia is a competitive top-down shooter that blends Counter-Strike with Hotline Miami. It is for players who want competitive shooting viewed from above, particularly people interested in a game that draws on both named titles. The open source program runs on Linux, Windows, MacOS, and the Web. These options make it available across three desktop operating systems and through the Web, without limiting it to one listed platform. Hypersomnia combines its two reference points instead of serving as a like-for-like version of either one. Its main limitation is the same hybrid design that defines it: players seeking Counter-Strike alone or Hotline Miami alone will get a competitive top-down shooter that blends both. It suits an audience open to that combination, but not users who want an unchanged version of either named game.
