TagSpaces

TagSpaces is an offline, cross-platform file manager and organiser that can also work as a note-taking app. It is for people who want to manage files and keep notes in one program. It also suits those who work offline or across several platforms. The app handles file organisation and note taking as two parts of the same tool. For WebDAV use, a separate version can be installed on a WebDAV server. That server can run Nextcloud or ownCloud. The main limit applies to WebDAV setups. The WebDAV version needs a WebDAV server and does not replace it. Users must install the app on top of that server. This means a Nextcloud or ownCloud setup still needs its server layer. The offline app can act as a file manager, organiser, and note-taking app, while the WebDAV version adds the server need.
