PicoShare

PicoShare is a minimalist, easy-to-host service for sharing images and other files. It is aimed at people who want to host a simple place for file sharing, especially when images are part of what they need to share. Its focus is narrow and practical: users can share images as well as other kinds of files through a service designed to be easy to host. PicoShare is therefore suited to users who value a small, focused program over a service with a wider purpose. That minimalist scope is also its main limitation. People looking for a broader program with needs beyond sharing images and files may find PicoShare too narrowly focused. The easy-to-host design also makes it relevant to users who place hosting simplicity ahead of a larger feature set.
