Kapowarr

GPL-3.0 self-hosted

Kapowarr builds and manages a comic book library, letting users download, rename, move, and convert issues from a volume. It is for comic book readers and collectors who want control over how their issues are arranged. Users can apply these actions to the issues of each volume and shape the resulting library to their liking. The program keeps its work centered on the relationship between a comic book volume and its individual issues, covering both acquisition and later organization. That narrow focus is also its main limitation. Kapowarr handles comic book libraries and the four issue tasks, but its scope does not extend beyond them. People who need to organize material other than comic book volumes and issues will need another program for that work. Users also have to decide how they want issues renamed, moved, and converted; Kapowarr provides those choices rather than defining one required arrangement.
