HumHub

HumHub is a flexible kit for building private social networks. It is for people who want to create a private network and need a flexible base for the project. Instead of defining one rigid kind of network, HumHub provides a kit centered on private social spaces. This makes it suitable for network creators whose main requirement is privacy and whose chosen format is a social network. Its main limitation is its narrow scope: HumHub is intended for private social networks, not public social networks or unrelated kinds of software. The program fits projects that need this specific combination of flexibility, privacy, and social networking, but it does not cover projects outside that combination. That boundary should guide users comparing it with broader tools.
