Wazo
Wazo is an open source IPBX that runs on Asterisk and includes a Web administration interface and RESTful API. It gives administrators a Web tool for work on the IPBX. It also gives software a RESTful route to the same system. Wazo is for teams that need to run IP telephony and want both Web and API access. The Web interface is part of Wazo, so it does not need to be paired with a separate administration program. The API is also built in, which lets code work with the IPBX through REST. Both forms of access sit on top of the Asterisk-based system. This has one clear limit: Wazo depends on Asterisk for its core IPBX base. It is not a standalone telephony core.
